Information on Cirrus™ Insulation - Rab have been working closely with 3M to develop Cirrus. It is a featherless synthetic insulation that mimics the action of down. It has the same warmth to weight ration as 600loft goose or duck down however it significantly differs from down in that it maintains its loft when and dries extremely fast. This makes it a great alternative if you're heading somewhere where getting your down jacket wet is a real possibility. It is also easy to care for - Throw it in the washing machine with everything else. No special treatments.
